Sabata Kenneth Mokoteli is an entrepreneur, author, and business development advocate dedicated to advancing economic participation, wealth creation, and sustainable enterprise development. History

Sabata Kenneth Mokoteli is the founder of BECOB, the primary vehicle through which he pursues this mission. His commitment to economic empowerment stems from a deep passion for wealth creation and economic inclusion, particularly among historically underserved communities. To further advance these principles, he authored the book Restorative Wealth, which explores the role of entrepreneurship, ownership, and collective economic participation in building sustainable prosperity.

Experience

With more than 20 years of business experience, Sabata Kenneth Mokoteli has developed extensive insight into the opportunities and challenges faced by emerging entrepreneurs, both in South Africa and internationally. This experience has shaped his commitment to supporting business founders and growth-stage enterprises in overcoming barriers to success. It also inspired the establishment of BECOB and NEVAC Investments, entities focused on building a thriving entrepreneurial ecosystem that nurtures sustainable businesses and develops productive, effective business leaders.

Throughout his career, he has played a significant role in the establishment, development, and growth of enterprises across a diverse range of sectors, including construction, education, agriculture, media, beauty, and transportation. His work has consistently centred on creating platforms, partnerships, and support structures that enable businesses to grow, create jobs, and contribute meaningfully to economic development.

Journey

Sabata Kenneth Mokoteli began his entrepreneurial journey in the entertainment industry, where he founded Lethabo Media, a company that successfully organised and serviced events for more than a decade. His professional background includes studies in Television and Film Production at University of the Witwatersrand. He has also worked with leading media organisations, including South African Broadcasting Corporation, MultiChoice, Franz Marx Films, and British Broadcasting Corporation.

Today, Sabata Kenneth Mokoteli continues to champion entrepreneurship as a catalyst for economic transformation, empowering individuals and businesses to build wealth, create opportunities, and contribute to the development of stronger and more prosperous communities.
